(Versione Italiana più in basso!)Seriously... how do you think we can wrap 10+ years on a webpage?We could share pictures - an image is worth more than 1,000 words! We have more than 16,000 pictures on our phone, that would be 16,000,000 words. And that would be a good amount of words to tell our story. But it is not time to write a book.Keeping it short...We met in Brussels in 2015, where we both arrived for work in 2004 (Michele) and 2011 (Andrea). A chance meeting (thank you Kerstin!) of a Swiss and Italian in Belgium. What started as conversations over Argentinian wine (which Malbec?) and music tunes (Tell it to my heart), turned into a connection that grew naturally into the partnership we cherish today.In 2017 we decided to live together in the house we got in love at first sight (at least that one was!).It was only (finally!) at Christmas 2024 that Michele asked Andrea to marry him, in line with his innate slowness of a "marble cat" (Unforgettable...a complete disaster!).This is not our story, it is our timeline, spiced up with some anecdotes. Our story is indeed a 16.000.000 words book that we haven't written alone and not only with the people that are with us to celebrate, but with many people that have crossed our pathway. Some are gone, some are in our soul, some still sharing their pathway with us.Thank you for being part of this journey that is our life.----------Dai, seriamente... come pensi che potremmo riassumere più di 10 anni di vita insieme su una pagina web?Ma certo, condividendo le foto! D'altronde "un'immagine vale più di 1.000 parole" giusto?! Abbiamo più di 16.000 foto sul nostro telefono, che valgono più di 16.000.000 parole. Che sarebbero un bel po' di parole per raccontare la nostra storia.Ma non è il momento di scrivere un libro.Facciamola breve...Ci siamo conosciuti a Bruxelles nel 2015, dove siamo arrivati ​​entrambi per lavoro, nel 2004 (Michele) e nel 2011 (Andrea). Un colpo di fortuna, un incontro "quasi" accidentale, dove il "quasi" ha un nome e un cognome: Kerstin Woelfl , amica (di Michele) e collega (di Andrea). "Galeotti furono..." un vino Malbec Argentino - "si ma quale Malbec?" - e una canzone (Tell it to my heart) e un cheek-to-cheek fortuito (ma neanche troppo), ballando di fronte a uno Zacapa invecchiato di 20 anni! Un paio di scintille capaci di innescare una fiamma che ancora oggi continua a scaldarci i cuori.Nel 2017 abbiamo deciso di andare a convivere nella casa di cui ci siamo innamorati a prima vista.Solo (finalmente!) a Natale del 2024, in linea con la sua "connaturata lentezza" (cit. M.T. Sarro) da "gatto di marmo" (cit. gli amici del basket). Michele ha chiesto ad Andrea di sposarlo.Questa non è la nostra storia, è la nostra cronologia condita di qualche aneddoto. La nostra storia è davvero un libro di 16.000.000 di parole che non abbiamo scritto da soli, e non solo con le persone che sono con noi in questo giorno di festa, ma con molte persone che hanno incrociato il nostro cammino. Alcune sono entrate e uscite, altre sono nella nostra anima, altre ancora continuano a condividere il loro cammino con noi.Grazie per fare parte di questo viaggio che è la nostra vita.----------

If you plan to come by plane, Malpensa airport is the closest to Como.Taxi is the more comfortable but also more expensive (around 150€) transport option to the Lake.Train is a cheaper but more time consuming solution with the Malpensa Express. No direct train connection, a change in Saronno with Trenord is required to get to Como.Alternatively you may consider renting a car.

By plane

For the good or the bad, Lake Como has become a high demand destination in the last years (bloody George Clooney!).This means connections are improving and increasing, that is good, but also hotel prices are exploding (that is bad).There are many offers for accommodation, both through hotels and private renting (Airbnb, etc...).The Radisson hospitality network allows to have a discount for the recently opened downtown Palazzo S.
